My journey to ceramic started, as the best things do, with a feeling. 

For years, as a fashion stylist and bespoke event curator, my world was built around the temporary- the perfect look for a moment, the flawless event for a night. I became fluent in the language of transformative power of detail. But I began to crave something more lasting.

Drawn back to the joy of creating with my hands,I connect with the slow and honest feel of clay. In its raw, earthy potential, I found the perfect counterpoint to my past. Where fashion is fluid and seasonal, ceramics are solid and timeless. Yet, the language of design remained the same: form, line, balance, and emotion.

In 2024, this passion blossomed into création de JcR. It is the culmination of my creative evolution. It is where my past dialogues with my present.

My works embody a clean, contemporary line softened by organic, handcrafted warmth. They are quiet, intentional objects designed not to shout, but to resonate.

My mission is to create pieces that serve as the quiet anchors of a curated life. I believe in “Artful Utility”—that a lighting fixture should not just illuminate a room, but sculpt the shadows within it; that tableware should not merely hold food, but elevate the daily ritual into a moment of grace.

Each piece is handcrafted in my studio in Basel, a slow and considered response to the noise. They are functional objects, but they are also tactile poems—invitations to pause, to feel, and to find beauty in the perfectly imperfect touch of hands.
